Q: Who is the owner of Little Friends Preschool?
A. Kathleen Cruz is the owner of Little Friends Preschool and
chose to open up her preschool after teaching her daughter for
the last four years. She has a B.S in Journalism & Mass
Communications Concentration in Advertising and minor in Speech
Communications. She is a former advertising professional who
worked in the field of online advertising as well as traditional
advertising for over a decade. She has lived on the Issaquah
Plateau with her husband and daughter for 7 years.
Q: What makes your preschool unique from other preschools?
A: Little Friends Preschool is fully licensed by The State of
Washington Department of Early Learning. We meet and exceed
Washington State's requirements for providing exceptional care
and safety of your children.
Q: How old does my child need to be before they can begin at
Little Friends Preschool?
A: They need to be 3 years of age by the time they begin their
program.
Q. Is your child able to be away from the primary care giver for an
extended length of time?
A. This is one of the most important questions to consider when
deciding if your child is ready for preschool. A child has to able to
be comfortable enough to be away from a parent for an extended
period of time. Please consider this when seeking a preschool for
your child.
Q: Do children need to be potty trained to attend Little Friends
Preschool?
A: Yes, they need to be fully potty-trained.
Q. Do you potty train children?
A. No we do not potty train children.
Q: How large are the class sizes?
A: The teacher - student ratio is 1:8, thus allowing individual
attention and nurturing to be given to each and every child.
