At Little Friends Preschool our philosophy provides a
foundation that nurtures the child through all stages of
development. By nourishing the mind and the senses
through a healthy environment, imaginative play, artistic
activity, language, song, puppetry, fairy tales and
storytelling, our program fosters the development of the
whole child, physically, emotionally, and intellectually.
At Little Friends Preschool, our program encourages
education where children play at cooking, they dress up
and become whomever they want to be; they sing, paint,
and color. Through songs and poems they learn to enjoy
language; they learn to play together, hear stories, do
puppet shows, and build houses out of boxes, sheets,
and boards. To become fully engaged in such work is the
child's best preparation for life. It builds powers of
concentration, interest, and a lifelong love of learning.
